Skincare Review: Kat Burki KB5 Calming Gel Cleanser

I’m still one of those people who want their cleanser to feel cleansing. It’s how I liked it when I used to only cleanse and call it a day way back in grade school and that’s how I still like it now.

The KB5 Calming Gel Cleanser from Kat Burki has a gel texture with a watery consistency. It promises to remove impurities, makeup, and excess oil while brightening, soothing, softening, and retaining moisture to the skin. The cleanser uses flower water from gotu kola, lavender, calendula, and chamomile. It also contains aloe leaf juice, borage seed extract, rosehip seed oil, olive fruit oil, vitamin e, and lavender hydrosol water. It’s formulated without parabens, synthetic dyes, synthetic fragrances, gluten, sulfates, petrolatum, and mineral oils.

This might be a gentle cleanser but it has helped deeply cleanse my skin. It removes excess oil without leaving my skin feeling too dry and stripped. Even though I have to use a cleansing balm to remove makeup, this helps keep my skin feeling hydrated. I like using this now in the morning for some gentle yet deep cleansing that nourishes my skin.
