The newly launched Rose Deep Hydration Oil-Infused Serum from Fresh Beauty contains water (rosewater extract and damask rose extract) to hydrate and oil (rose flower, camelina, rosehip, and squalane) to nourish.
It’s meant to be shaken before use, which is honestly what got me curious. This is so much lighter than I expected. Yes, it’s oily, at least it looks oily. It doesn’t feel like it, though. It feels light and runny, like most serums, with a certain viscosity to it. It doesn’t sit on top of the skin but it does leave a sheen. It feels nourishing and of course, it feels good. I would wake up with plump and dewy skin after using this.

Building my lip care routine with these beauties from Fresh Beauty. To be honest, since I have not been using liquid lipsticks that much, my lips have been looking and feeling okay so, I sort of neglected them.
However, getting these Sugar Lip Ritual products made me pay attention to my lips again. After cleansing my face, I exfoliate with the Sugar Lip Polish. I do this twice a week. It feels gentle on the lips, not that abrasive, just enough to provide exfoliation.
At night, before sleeping, I apply the Sugar Lip Treatment Advanced Therapy. It’s not as thick as most treatments, it feels like a normal balm so it doesn’t feel bothersome. It’s on my bedside table so I wouldn’t forget.
In the morning and all throughout the day, I apply to use the Sugar Rosé Tinted Lip Treatment Sunscreen SPF 15. It has a berry tint that can be used alone, especially on days when I’m not wearing any makeup.
After a couple of weeks of use, my lips felt softer and smoother. It made me realize how much attention I should give my lips, not just my skin.

Still on vacation and drenching my skin in roses (or at least rose-infused skincare products) using the Fresh Rose Ritual Gift Set complimentary from FreshBeauty.
After cleansing, I use the Rose Face Mask, a hydrating mask that contains rose petals and promises to soothe, plump, and tone the skin using rosewater, cucumber extract, algae, and green tea. As someone who loves floral scents, this is an instant like. It smells like a bouquet of fresh roses. It has a gel consistency that is much denser than the Rose Sleeping Mask that I tried and reviewed a few months back. I like that it has a cooling sensation. It’s gentle and nourishing as well so this can also be a good second mask after applying a detoxifying one as it helps soothe and moisturize the skin. Used alone, this hydrates my skin and provides extra nourishment in my skincare routine.
I then apply the Rose Deep Hydration Facial Toner using a cotton pad. It contains rose petals, hyaluronic acid, and angelica leaf extract to hydrate and tone the skin. This toner is watery with some viscosity to it. It has a very slight cooling sensation to the skin once you apply it. It feels hydrating on the skin and is a good option if you’re looking for a great smelling hydrating toner for everyday use.
As the last step, the Rose Deep Hydration Face Cream aims to deliver hydration using hydropatches, angelica leaf extract, rosewater, plum seed oil, and hyaluronic acids. I had low expectations about this moisturizer mainly because it looked heavy and creamy on the tub. Boy, was I glad to be wrong. It applies so light and sinks in quickly onto the skin. I can easily say that my oily can carry this on a normal morning. I like using this when I would be applying a sleeping mask afterward as it is a great moisturizing support and it feels so light on the skin. I will definitely be using this as a night moisturizer come summer.
I’m recently being introduced to Fresh skincare products and so far, I’ve had good experiences. They are simple, gentle, and always hydrating and nourishing.

Been cleansing with these Fresh goodies that Fresh Beauty gifted me. Cleansing is something that I’ve been doing since grade school. It’s some of the things my mother has taught me. I may have skipped cleansing when I was younger (when I was sick, drunk, or just plain lazy) but basically, it’s something I’ve been doing for more than two decades.
For the past few weeks, I’ve been cleansing my face with the Seaberry Cleansing Oil and the Soy Face Cleanser from Fresh. To be honest they just came and the right time because my skin has been acting up after getting used to winter and then coming back to a warmer and more humid climate. As soon as I went back, I’ve been spotting whiteheads (something I’ve never had since college) and zits on my chin. It’s been fun.
The Seaberry Skin Nutrition Cleansing Oil is gentle to the skin. It feels light when massaged onto the skin and it dissolves makeup easily without the feeling of the oil sticking to the skin. It’s easily rinsed with water as it emulsifies quickly and doesn’t leave a film.
I’ve seen a lot of people rave about the Soy Face Cleanser and I get it now. It’s one of the gentlest gel cleansers I’ve tried. Personally, I like how soothing it feels and how it lathers lightly but rinses easily. It also doesn’t leave a film and just leaves my skin cleansed and refreshed.
Using both for cleansing feels calming and nourishing to the skin and calms my recently problematic skin.

Aside from hydration, I’ve also been studying the effects of applying products with antioxidants on my skin. I never used to pay attention until I saw how much they helped my skin by preventing it from looking dull and just making my skin look and feel healthy.
I’ve been using the Kombucha Facial Treatment Essence ($68) from Fresh Beauty at night the past few weeks. This essence promises to protect, smooth, brighten, and hydrate the skin while refining the look of pores and reducing the look of fine lines using kombucha, a fermented black tea. This has a typical essence consistency that sinks into the skin quickly. It nourishes my skin and leaves it feeling dewy and looking healthy.
I’ve been really happy about this essence because of how much it nourishes and hydrates my oily skin. It also helps in preventing from making my skin look dull and sallow in the middle of the week. It’s just a good supporting product to my actives and it has been helping with the overall health of my skin.
